About The Cake Box
Looking for an eggless cake shop in Maidstone town centre? The Cake Box is at Unit 245 Water Lane, The Mall Chequers Centre, King Street, ME15 6AR. As an egg-free cake shop, it caters for anyone avoiding eggs – a popular choice for birthday cakes ordered at short notice. It is one of 248 Cake Box locations we list across the UK.
We do not hold confirmed hours for this particular branch – station and shopping-centre branches often open earlier and close later than high-street ones. Food hygiene officers from Maidstone rated it 3 – Generally satisfactory when they inspected on 9 February 2026.
Arriving by public transport? Head for Maidstone East station; from there it is a walk of about 10 minutes. It is not the only option nearby: there are 4 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done.
